073 2021/04/25 West Haven Veterans Museum Trip
On April 24th, 2021 the Connecticut Minuteman Composite Squadron visited the West Haven Veterans Museum and Learning Center, located in West Haven CT. The museum’s mission is to honor the men and women who served our state and country during times of conflict and natural disasters, and to collect and preserve artifacts that can help explain to future generations how our fighting men and women lived and survived while serving the nation. Displays consisted of uniforms, equipment, weapons, photographs and much more. Items on display were from the Revolutionary War through recent conflicts such as Desert Storm. The museum staff was knowledgeable and professional, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere for the cadets who asked questions and answered many more. It was a great event for seniors as well as cadets.
