Squadron Commander

Major Laura Moore is the commander of Connecticut Minuteman Composite Squadron in East Haven CT. 

Major Moore began her Civil Air Patrol career  in 2008 after an  initial interest in aviation.  Having trained to be a scanner and observer she was hooked on CAP! 

She has served in many duty positions within the squadron including Deputy Commander for Cadets, PAO, and Deputy Commander for Seniors.  Commander Moore is rated in several specialty tracks including Cadet Programs and Professional Development.

In addition to her squadron duties she is serving as the Training and Education officer for CT Wing and the Level 3 onsite chair for Volunteer University at the national level.
